Bless Web Designs has been a family-owned web design agency in Dallas since 2012. In that time, more than 2,000 small businesses across Dallas, Garland, Mesquite, and the wider DFW metroplex have trusted us with their websites, their marketing, and their livelihoods. Every one of those businesses is run by someone who once had to get their start.
Community college is where a lot of those starts happen. Dallas College serves more than 70,000 students a year, many of them first-generation college students working jobs while they study. A $1,000 gap in tuition or textbook money shouldn’t be the thing that stops someone. So we decided it won’t be, at least for one student every year.
This scholarship is our way of saying thank you to the city that raised our business and of putting our faith into practice in the most practical way we know: paying a bill for a neighbor.
A $1,000 Award for Education Costs
One recipient is selected each year. The $1,000 award is sent directly to the recipient’s Dallas College student account and may be applied toward tuition, mandatory fees, or required course materials.
The award does not require repayment, an internship, a testimonial, or participation in marketing. Bless Web Designs may ask for permission to announce the recipient, but public recognition is completely optional.

Who Can Apply
- Dallas College enrollment - You are enrolled or accepted for the Spring 2027 semester at one of the seven Dallas College campuses (formerly the Dallas County Community College District, DCCCD).
- Demonstrated financial need - You qualify for need-based aid (for example, Pell Grant eligibility), or you can briefly describe the financial hardship that makes this award meaningful.
- Local residency - You live in Dallas County or one of the adjoining counties: Collin, Denton, Tarrant, Rockwall, Kaufman, or Ellis.
- Required course load - You plan to take at least six credit hours during the semester in which the award is applied.
- No age restriction - Recent high school graduates, returning students, adult learners, GED holders, and students changing careers may apply. DACA recipients and undocumented students who are eligible to enroll at Dallas College are also welcome to apply.

Write a Short Personal Essay
Prepare Your Documents
Provide proof that you are enrolled or accepted for Spring 2027 at Dallas College. You may submit a class schedule, acceptance letter, or student portal screenshot.
Also, provide either a financial aid summary or a short paragraph explaining your current financial need. Remove student ID numbers, account numbers, dates of birth, and other private information from every document before sending it.
