Elizabeth Myong is a journalist covering the intersection of arts, culture, and the economy. She reports and produces for Arts Access, a partnership between Dallas Morning News Arts and KERA that expands arts coverage in Dallas-Fort Worth through the lens of equity and access. Her reporting highlights labor issues, economic trends, and community initiatives within the arts sector.
Elizabeth’s work has been featured in Marketplace, NPR’s Weekend Edition, WBUR’s Here & Now, CNBC, Yahoo! Finance, The Houston Chronicle, Associated Press, Eater NY, and Rice Magazine. She has also covered politics and breaking news as a news fellow at CNBC and reported on modern arts as a freelancer for Houstonia Magazine and The Houston Chronicle.
Her reporting on Asian American communities earned a regional Edward R. Murrow Award and a Texas Broadcast News Award. She was a Poynter Power of Diverse Voices fellow in 2021 and a Poynter-Koch Fellow in 2023-2024, where she developed an innovation project addressing misinformation and deep fakes in media.
